The cooperation among Sanyo and Toshiba with some chinese distributors, recently appeared on the market some integrated circuits dedicated to the motion control world. According to the datasheets they seem to be really interesting. Unfortunately we can only talk about them because still now we were not been able to test them.

We are talking about the: THB6128 - THB7128 - THB8128 -THB6064 distributed by the Beijing Haihua Boyuan Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd. Apparently only for the chinese internal market.

- Output on-resistance( High side 0.3 Ω, Low side 0.25 Ω,

Total 0.55 Ω; Ta = 25°C, Io = 2.0 A)
- 2, 1-2, W1-2, 2W1-2, 4W1-2, 8W1-2, 16W1-2,
32W1-2 phase excitation are selectable
- Advance the excitation step with the only step
signal input
- Available forward reverse control

- Over current protection circuit
- Thermal shutdown circuit

While theTHB6064 is equivalent to theTB6564 of the Toshiba.

 At first glance, given the peculiarities, all integrated seem very interesting, with all normal protections (temperature and overcurrent) must be integrated. They worth a try.
